The Islamic Center at New York University is sponsoring Run4Gaza, a fundraiser race for Gaza at this critical time.  Columbia University Muslims and Alumni/ae will be working with the ICNYU team to support this relief effort. 

According to UNRWA estimates, damages to water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in Gaza has reached $1.5 million. There are currently 1.5 million people without access to basic resources. Over 100,000 people have either lost or had their homes badly damaged, and over 65,000 Palestinians will be displaced long-term. 

Please help us in our efforts by participating in the Run4Gaza race. Every dollar counts.

Charity: We will be raising funds for ISNA Relief for Gaza.We recommend runners raise $100 each.

Racers will be able to join one of three groups upon arriving:

1. Walking Group - For those that want to take it easy while they're fasting, the walking group will taking a brisk walk to the finishing line.  
2. Jogging Group - For those that want to break a sweat, but don't want to overdo it.  This group will be taking a casual jog to the finish.
3. Running Group -  A group for those that will be running at an aggressive pace throughout the route.

The waves will be timed so that they reach the end at about the same time.
